My name is Morgan, also known as maryjanemorgs, I'm an entrepreneur nestled in the picturesque Okanagan Region of British Columbia, Canada. My journey into the realms of social media and marketing commenced in 2017, marked by a foray into various small-scale projects and into content creation.
In 2019, I found myself managing a spray tan company, spearheading their social media presence across platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Not just limited to digital curation though, I also immersed myself in the art of photography and editing, alongside hands-on spray tanning duties. A true 'jack of all trades', you might say.
As my understanding of content creation deepened, I began offering mini photoshoots tailored for content creation purposes, this was my side hustle while pursuing my education in environmental studies.
The turning point arrived in 2021 when I decided to channel my environmental ethos towards the cannabis industry, relocating to the heart of BC's cannabis culture in Nelson. Over the following years, I garnered valuable experience as a cultivation technician in a Licensed Production Facility and landed my dream role as an independent contractor in cannabis sales and marketing.
With 2023 came the moment to formalize my endeavors, thus MJM Marketing Co came into existence.
Fast forward to the present day, 2024, I'm deeply entrenched in the Canadian cannabis landscape, continuing my role in sales and marketing while also delving into specialized areas such as small business marketing, social media consulting, and the creation of user-generated content.
Beyond my professional pursuits, my passion for environmental conservation found expression in sustainable fashion. I recently launched a vintage company in early May, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Our inaugural collection is set to debut on Instagram on May 15th, 2024, at 4:20 pm - mark your calendars!
